Question tags are short questions that we usually put at the end of a sentence. Auxiliary verbs are utilized in these tags.

Negative tags are used after positive statements, while positive tags are used after negative statements. For example:

He is coming, isn't he? (negative tag after a positive statement)

He is not coming, is he? (positive tag after a negative statement)

Use do/does/did for present and past simple, such as:

Daisy sings well, doesn't she?

These kids sing well, don't they?

Henry sang well, didn't he?
