The construction of present continuous tense follows the format of: Subject + to be (present tense) + verb (present participle), such as: I'm/he's/she's/it's/we're/you're/they're + verb + -ing.

For example: I am following the rules.

He is playing in the game tomorrow.

They are going to take the exam at some point.
