ACS style recommends to list the surname first, first initial, middle initial, and qualifiers.  If the reference has more than one author, you need to add semicolons to separate names.  Also, if publications have more than 10 authors, you can display et al. 

For example, 

Bones, J. 

Kim, S.; Bones, J. 

Fishman, S., II. 

William, J., Jr.
