|A working definition refers to the way the writer will be using a term throughout the paper.
Example: 'During the summer months there is a positive correlation with aggression. Aggression is any hostile behavior expressed by any individual when stressful stimuli are introduced.'
In this is an example we can see that the writer provided a working definition for 'aggression' (Bold and Underlined).
